As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing interior design projects from start to finish. Responsibilities:
- Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes to clients
- Prepare detailed drawings, and specifications for construction and installation purposes
- Source and select furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with the project requirements and budget
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of the design
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the industry
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer; portfolio showcasing your design skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- **In-person role. Not hybrid or remote.

Job Title: Retail Sales Stylist

Role:
The Retail Sales Stylist will play a pivotal role in creating memorable and inspiring shopping experiences for our customers. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on home furnishings and decor, assisting with product selection, and driving sales through outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about transforming spaces and creating personalized environments that cater to diverse customer preferences.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and offer assistance in their shopping journey.
- Provide expert advice/guidance to customers, assisting them in selecting products that align with their aesthetic preferences, functional requirements, and budget considerations.
- Actively promote and upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with other departments such as inventory management, marketing, and e-commerce to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a timely and professional manner both in person and online as needed.
- Offer personalized recommendations and solutions that enhance customers' homes taking into account their unique tastes and lifestyle.
- Create a welcoming shopping experience that encourages repeat visits and fosters a loyal customer base.
- Assist the In Home Styling team as needed.
- Assist interior designers from Kate Marker Interiors to create draft orders for installations.
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to arrange products in a manner that highlights their features and benefits, inspiring customers with creative ideas for their own spaces.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in home decor and furnishings retail, or a related role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A keen eye for design, color coordination, and spatial aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to commit to 2 Saturdays per month working retail
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
