We recognize all projects may not have as large a scope as building or renovating a full house, so we are excited to offer a focused, individualized, room-based styling service. Remote Design is a per room, flat fee decor service handled by the Kate Marker Home (KMH) Styling team. Our Remote Design client is comfortable with email communications and Zoom calls, as well as willing to purchase products through Kate Marker Home and implement these final selections independently.
What is Included?
— Design Boards - Two (2) per space and includes furnishings, floor coverings, wall-covering, paint, art, lighting, guidance on window treatments, and floor plan layout
— Product Source List
— All back/forth conversation emails
— Coordination of product selections, proposals, orders, tracking, and delivery
NOTE: This service does not include cabinet or room elevations, architectural finish guidance, floor plan revisions (changing the footprint of a room), hard finishes (tile, flooring, etc), custom window treatments, accessories, and in person meetings.
How is it Priced?
The flat-rate decor fee ranges from $1800-$3600 per room. We will review your space based on: KMH Remote Design questionnaire answers images of the existing room, general layout and sizing. We then quote a customized design fee per room and a general timeline of when we can start, communicated via email.
In addition to the Decor Fee, we ask for a $5000 retainer per room and a signed contract. The per-room retainer will then be applied towards any product purchases and can be fluid in application across rooms if more than one room will be a Remote Design project.
NOTE: All products reflect competitive client pricing and pricing will be honored for 30 days from the date of the Proposal. Purchases can be made after 30 days but pricing may be impacted due to vendor increases, etc.
