Art has always been a passion of mine ever since I could remember. It is a creative outlet that allows and continues to allow me to feel challenged and grounded. To me, it’s just like riding a bike. No matter how much time has passed, it feels as though nothing has changed and I’m back in my childhood home.
Growing up in a small town in the 80s, I didn’t even know that interior design was a thing, all I knew is that I was a girl who loved art, had a secret superpower in math, and wanted to help people but had no idea how all those things could go together. Maybe it was seeing my mom as a teacher for all those years that planted the seed, but I just always knew that I was meant to connect with people, to find out what they needed, and help them get there.
